1. What is sold

Parasite, a software synthesizer in plug-in format (VST3 and AU for macOS, VST3 for Windows), delivered by download. It is a one time purchase, with no subscription and no recurring charge. Use of the software is governed by the end user license agreement included in the download.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The price that applies is the one displayed on this site at the time of the order. Where applicable, VAT is charged at the rate in force in the buyer's country of residence within the European Union.

3. Order and payment

Orders are placed through the online payment offered on this site. Payment is taken immediately. The contract is formed when the payment is accepted.

4. Delivery

Delivery is immediate: after payment you receive a download link and a license key by email. If nothing arrives within the following minutes, check your spam folder, then write to [email protected] and the message will be sent again.

5. Consumer rights

Parasite is digital content sold at a distance to consumers, and your purchase is governed by the French Consumer Code. Every right it grants you applies in full, and nothing in these terms reduces them.

To exercise any of them, write to [email protected] and state the email address used for the purchase. No particular form is required.

Before buying, the demo lets you run the full plug-in in your own host for as long as you want, so you can check that Parasite suits you.

If a refund is issued, your license key is deactivated. You must then stop using Parasite and delete your copies of the software.

6. Compatibility and demo version

Parasite runs as a plug-in inside a host application:

macOS: VST3 and AU, Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 11 or later.
Windows: VST3, 64 bit.

Activation requires an internet connection once. The plug-in then works offline, apart from an occasional connection used to reconfirm the license. Compatibility with future versions of operating systems or host applications is not guaranteed.

A demo version is available: the download runs without a license key, so you can try Parasite before buying and confirm that it works with your setup. The demo gives access to the full plug-in and the whole factory bank, with two restrictions: the output is attenuated to near silence for three seconds out of every twenty five, and saving your own presets is disabled. Entering a key unlocks the same installation, with nothing to download again.

7. Updates

Updates to Parasite are made available by download. The plug-in checks periodically whether a newer version exists and offers to download it. This check sends no account information and no data about your use of the software, beyond what any ordinary web request carries. Fixes and compatibility updates are provided for the lifetime of the license. The release of new features is not guaranteed.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

As a consumer you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by the French Consumer Code for digital content and services. If Parasite does not work as described, contact us: the problem will be fixed or, failing that, you will be refunded. This guarantee applies in addition to the rights covered in section 5.

9. Support

Support is provided by email at [email protected]. We answer as quickly as we can, without committing to a guaranteed response time.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.

You remain free, in any case, to bring the matter before the competent court.
